The whole armpit woes wasn't in my wedding preparation process but I thought it would be good and useful to share this especially for brides wearing their gowns and taking their wedding photos.
More importantly, Regina is the very first beauty store I encountered that does not hard sell their treatments.
How did I come to Regina?
The armpit is getting to be super unsightly because of the constant plucking and the skin is kinda loose/saggy now. One day while talking to my classmate, she told me she did this armpit IPL treatment to remove the hair permanently and it is quite cheap. As far as I know, I thought IPL treatment comes in thousands and decided to search for a cheaper alternative since I am interested in removing the hair. Then as I was surfing around Groupon, I chanced upon this armpit treatment deal by Regina.
Was hesitating for a long time because I didn't want to end up like an idiot, stuck in the hard selling situation and forced to buy their package. Goggled like siao for their review and quite happy to see ladies praising the services and no hard selling tactic.
Once convinced, I went to book an appointment at the Wheelock branch. First time when I entered, the lady was nice and explained to me the entire process. I was kinda half expecting and preparing myself to say 'no' if she is offering me packages to buy but to my delight she did not! Instead, she informed me of this $100 voucher which I could use to buy their whitening mask treatment (for armpit) and if I sign on that day I will be able to get 2 additional treatments. Quite tempting actually but decided to forgo cause nobody will really look at your armpit during wedding right?
Even when I said no to using that $100 voucher, the staff was very professional and left you at that, and bring you to a room for the treatment. No hard feelings or anything and I looked forward to the treatment excitedly actually. The entire process is easy and simple and took about 15 minutes.
Things you should know:
1) Don't drink alcohol or take medicine 2 days before treatment. Reason being, these two increase your body temperature and when doing IPL, your body will get quite "hot".
2) It is perfectly fine not to shave your armpit prior to the treatment. I let them shaved mine because I realized in the end they will still shave your armpit before starting.
3) The treatment is not painful, machiam ant bite and suitable for sensitive skin. Yes, my hair starts to grow slowly and result is super obvious after the first treatment. Now into my 3rd session, I find that my hair grows slowly but not as superbly good like how ladies mentioned in their experience.
4) Treatment is done every 2 months, not sure why though.
I do think it is worth checking out http://www.regina.sg/. You can look at their Facebook for promotions https://www.facebook.com/ReginaSingapore and I think it is worth it if you have the money to spend especially on their facial treatments.
Just to let you know about my progress:
1st session: Result was very obvious. Hair grew very slowly and I had very fine hair. Even though I was told they would drop off by itself, I did not really notice about this part.
2nd session: Hair did grow a little faster and I have a shave a little bit more often.
3rd session: Hair grew a few days after all the zapping of armpits. Shaved once and now the hair are growing really very slowly.
Time interval for each session is every 2 months. Was told to let the skin rest and heal (well...something like that).

Reviews of them:
Well, I am recommending solely because they don't hard sell. This is the whole main point. Most of the time when we read from other bloggers' post introducing certain treatments, it is very tempting for us readers to try. But what you need to do before thinking of going such free trials or treatments is to Google the reviews in forums and of course ask yourself do you really need to go. But if you think you can resist the hard selling tactic then go ahead and try! Afterall, no harm trying right?
